Challenge #1: Scaling Beyond Their Aging Custom Booking System  

Coming out of the pandemic, Select’s homegrown booking solution couldn’t keep up with the surge in group bookings.

Their staff were chasing payments and documents manually, and there was no easy way to generate TSA reports for smoother airport transfers. They also struggled to automate rooming reports for a smooth booking process. Hiring more staff wasn’t an option so they needed automation and visibility; fast. 

 

Solution: Personalized Onboarding & Enhanced Reports 

YouLi delivered a customized onboarding experience by: 

  • Consulting with the Select International Team to configure YouLi around Select’s needs – leveraging the core platform and identifying the few gaps that required customization 
  • Delivering custom rooming and TSA reports based on their requirements – now available as “Configurable Reports” for all Enterprise clients. 
  • Accelerating development of a booking report with Select’s input to ensure launch readiness – this has now expanded to become a general report that many clients rely upon. 
  • Providing unlimited, US-based email support and phone/in-person contact as needed. 


Within just two months, Select International successfully onboarded 10 staff members onto the new solution based on YouLi —with regular check-ins to ensure proper adoption and confidence. 

Since implementation, they’ve scaled from managing 30-50 trips per year to running over 130 trips per year on YouLi—including one with over 500 passengers.

Essential Booking Reports are now generated automatically, saving the team countless hours in manual admin. 

Select also now has a competitive advantage when selling B2B to churches and group organizers due to their fully branded booking experience. They are leveraging the Platform White Label feature so every aspect of the experience is Select International branded. Challenge #2: Navigating Global Disruption with Confidence 

In 2023-24, violence in the Middle East forced Select to cancel a significant number of tours in the Holy Land. With hundreds of travelers already booked, they needed to pivot fast—without losing trust or revenue.
